There is nothing more embarrassing than sweat patches. Well, there probably is, but it doesn't serve my argument to mention anything as such right now. I seem to have a sweating problem at work over the last few days.
Now, this may be due to a number of reasons. The fact that I am unfit at the moment is surely a factor, as is my excessive drinking, and the actual heat of the place I am working in is immense. So, I guess really there isn't very much I can do about it - apart from wear black or white, smother myself in deodorant and not raise my arms above my waist - which is difficult when I'm supposed to be shuffling papers on a desk.
Have been feeling embarrassed and anxious about this all day, that is until I remembered this;

If The Boss doesn't mind sweat patches seeping through his shirt then neither do I! Even if he is playing a 3-hour set in front of thousands of adoring fans and I'm validating pensioner claims forms in an office on Lancing Business Park. There is hardly any difference. From now on I will endeavour to enjoy my sweat as a part of my humanity. Or not.
I must point out at this point that my sweat happens to be odourless. I do not have B.O.
